Endeavour had three netball teams, one hockey team and one ripper rugby team compete in this year's Winter Sports Tournament. The students represented the school really well and showed great sportsmanship!
An amazing day was had by all celebrating the Moon Festival (or Mid-Autumn Festival, which traditionally marks the end of the summer harvest in Chinese and Vietnamese culture). The Students enjoyed hearing about the Moon Festival legends, trying different foods and sweets, colouring-in and dressing up in traditional clothes!
The Friend of Endeavour PTA put on an amazing disco for our students this year with the theme being "Something Begining With The Letter P". There were some truly incredible and creative costumes! Our students (and staff!) had so much fun!
A massive thank you to all of the Whanau that attended our Matariki Celebration on the 27th of June, and to those who donated and helped cook food.
It was a great way to start the day and celebrate Matariki as an Endeavour School Community!
Well done also to the students who led our celebration and to our Kapahaka group with their great performance! Such a wonderful morning!
Congratulations and THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the first-ever Endeavour School Fun Run! We raised over $25,000! It was a fantastic day, even with the rain. Our amazing Friends of Endeavour PTA did a fantastic job with all the activities, to make such an awesome community day! A big shout out to the awesome Mrs Campbell for all her hard work bringing it together!
On Tuesday the 11th of June Endeavour School hosted a Pop Up Festival to celebrate Eid Al Fitr with our Muslim community. Many thanks to the families who donated their time, food and expertise so all our students could enjoy a great cultural experience!
Crazy is only one way to describe some of the amazing hairstyle creations our students sported in support of Shave For a Cure and the NZ Leukaemia & Blood Cancer Foundation. Two of our staff members also cut off their hair! Endeavour School managed to raise a total of $1300.00 for Shave for a Cure.
Term One Tabloid Sports Day! It was amazing to see all the students participating and supporting their school house teams!
Grant and Corey from Fonterra came for a visit with one of their AMAZING milk tankers today! The students loved getting up and close to the tanker and Grant gave a wonderfully informative presentation.
This year a select number of students from year 4-6 competed in school swimming sports. They had a beautiful day for it! Interschool swimming sports pictures still to come!
