The Senior Learning Community had a fantastic Year 5/6 Camp at Lakewood Lodge, Glen Murray during Week 1 of Term 4.
Our team was made up of 99 LC 6 students, 6 teaching staff and 7 parents.
Everyone participated in a huge range of challenging, fun activities throughout the week; Low Ropes, Frisbee Golf, Flying Fox, Archery, Climbing Wall, Kayaking and Horse games.
Every Camp Group had a day and night completing the "Survival Challenge" where they tramped to the campsite, met a water and mud challenge, cooked their own dinner on open fires, slept in tents, listened to campfire stories and used long-drops ..... everyone survived!
Lifetime memories of Primary School were made! Many children learnt new skills and met personal challenges, including pushing themselves outside their comfort zones. We all felt super proud of our Endeavour Students!
The staff/ instructors at Lakewood Lodge were amazing with our students and the food was great. Our group of parent helpers were absolute stars during the whole week and we couldn't have run such a successful camp without their support.
