A Message from Meg Campbell - Level 2
Dear Parents / Caregivers,
Teenaa koutou whaanau,
The Prime Minister announced yesterday evening that we will move to Level 2 as a nation. Auckland ONLY will be on level 3 alert.
This means all Endeavour students can attend school as they did when we returned from lockdown last term - Endeavour School is a safe place to be.
PARENT/ TEACHER CONVERSATIONS scheduled for today and tomorrow are postponed. We will advise you of the new dates once these are confirmed.
We will increase our precautionary measures around the school starting today to ensure we keep it safe.
To remind you what this means:
• Confirm with your child(ren) which GATE; 1-2 or 3 you will collect them from or where they will walk to meet you.
keeping track of people that enter our school – through our attendance register, timetable and visitor register.
Parents should not come on to site, children must walk from the ‘Kiss n Drop’ to their learning community by themselves. Teachers will be available to support this. Parents/Caregivers must wait at Gate 1, 2 or 3 to collect students after school. Please do not visit the office. (Sourced from Ministry of Education)
Before & After school care will be operating
Gymnastics lessons are on hold
All Endeavour sports team trainings here at school are cancelled for this week
Stay at home if you are unwell. If a child is unwell while at school, we will phone parents/ caregivers to come and collect your child(ren). It may just be a cold, but if anyone develops symptoms in line with COVID-19 please get it checked out promptly.
• Use of PPE. For some of us wearing PPE (face masks) may provide increased confidence in public and we respect that. Please make sure that it is worn correctly and disposed of safely.
• Individual hygiene. This is our major defence against sharing any disease onsite.
• Hand sanitiser. All students will be required to hand sanitise regularly throughout the day.
We will continue to keep you updated.
