The Endeavour School Board of Trustees is entrusted to work on behalf of all stakeholders and is accountable for our school’s performance. It emphasises strategic leadership, sets the vision for the school, and ensures that Endeavour School complies with all legal and policy requirements. Policies are at a governance level and outline clear delegations to the principal. Endeavour School can have up to five elected parent trustees, one elected staff trustee and the Principal.
Board elections are on a three-year cycle with the next election for the Endeavour Board in May 2023

Having been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2017, Karin feels proud to have played a part of the school’s incredible journey, and has enjoyed working with Marcus and the team to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with such growth.
Karin’s son, James, started at Endeavour School in 2015, and every day she loves to see his and all the other smiling faces of the students as they go about Learning Without Limits.
Karin has worked in Human Resources for 20 years, and her experience includes working with large organisations and local Waikato businesses. Her passion for working with people and helping both them and organisations grow is why she is proud to be a member of the Board of Trustees.
Heather was a founding member of the Endeavour School Board and was Board Chair for 4 years before stepping down in 2020. Her eldest son spent 4 years at Endeavour before moving to Rototuna Junior High, now in Year 8, and her daughter is currently in Year 5 at the School.
Heather is a passionate advocate of lifelong learning and in her role as Director of Professional Programmes at the Waikato Management School, University of Waikato, she is engaged with the other spectrum of learners - business professionals.
Music is Heather's other passion, and when not at work she can often be found supporting the arts, singing in a two-piece jazz band with her husband.
Scott is a Waikato University graduate who moved back to Hamilton to settle with his family in 2008. He and his wife Kerri have 2 children attending Endeavour Primary aged 5 & 8.
Scott are Kerri are local business owners, who love getting out and exploring the Waikato and all it offers whenever they can.
This is Scott’s first appointment onto the Endeavour Board and with a head for numbers was volunteered into the finance role straight away.
Mike and his partner Sarah live in Flagstaff with two children attending Endeavour Primary School.
Originally from England, Mike has lived in the Waikato for 15+ years with the last 10 being in Hamilton, and he now considers Hamilton home. He enjoys spending time with family and getting out and about amongst the NZ outdoors
Currently a Project Manager/Business Analyst, Mike has a background in Management across a number of industries and has worked predominantly in IT and Operations.
This is Mike's first appointment onto the Endeavour Board and is looking forward to working with the wider team to continue the great work that already exists
Michael and his partner, Nicki Hamilton, live in Flagstaff and together they have twin girls that currently attend Endeavour in Year 3.
Michael is a very proud local that has called the Hamilton home for more than 37 years. Professionally, he is a business owner and photographer who provides commercial and event photography services around NZ, Australia and beyond.
Michael is a first-time Board of Trustees member and is honoured to be working with a strong and experienced Board that continues to ensure Endeavour is well placed to keep providing an excellent education with high-quality teachers and resources.
Kylee joined Endeavour School as a teacher in its foundation year. Prior to this, she worked at the University of Waikato educating Faculty of Education students. In this role, she taught adults but prior to this was in the primary sector. Kylee has a passion for lifelong learning and has herself continued learning to complete her Master of Education.
Since working at Endeavour Kylee has taken on a number of leadership roles including, Associate Principal of the Hangawera Team, Inquiry Leader, a teacher in charge of the Library and Te Pae Here Kāhui Ako Collaborative Inquiry within school teacher.
Kylee’s role on the Board is as the Staff Trustee. She is proud to be working on the Endeavour School Board.
